Life's Abundance Customers Give to Waldo Canyon Animals

Life's Abundance is a company known for its quality pet food and holistic health products. Not sold in stores, better instead Independent Field Representatives like me provide personal service to pet parents who are looking for the good stuff. We truly want only the best for your furry friends!

A portion of all Life's Abundance profits goes to Dr. Jane's Healthy Pet Net Foundation. The holistic veterinarian and formulator of Life's Abundance, Dr. Jane Bicks, is strongly committed  helping all pets live longer, healthier, and happier lives. This includes helping animals who are neglected or abandoned and require extra help.

This June, the pet community in Colorado Springs needed lots of extra help. The Waldo Canyon Fire was a huge disaster. More than 35,000 families and their pets were evacuated from their homes...forced to seek shelter from a fire burning in three directions. It was hot, it was dry, and the air so thick with smoke it was hard to see and difficult to breath.

The evacuation shelters did not allow pets. The Humane Society would take in family pets. but, how many? When the Red Cross opened a second, and then a third evacuation shelter, the numbers of pets in need also increased. The Humane Society quickly filled to the brim and hundreds of animals still needed a safe place to go.

And so they came. Many companion pets came to All Breed Rescue & Training. They would join the thirty 'adoptable' dogs and cats that had already been transported to them from the Humane Society to free up space. Their three suite warehouse facility was hastily transformed into an animal shelter. In round the clock shifts, this group sheltered the communities' pet companions tirelessly. They would care for fur babies of every size, shape, color, and temperament you can imagine.

I followed them on Facebook that week. They asked for coffee, clean clothes, markers, tape, fans, towels, soap, shampoo, dog food, cat litter, and hot meals. In a steady stream, their volunteers came with these these and more. They fed, watered, cleaned, played, cuddled, soothed and exercised in rotations, around the clock. All would remain safe.

So, fast forward to July. Fire is controlled. All but 346 families were allowed to returned home. Most of the pets were claimed by their evacuated families. Some were moved to foster homes, some were adopted, and some are still searching for their forever homes.

The rescue team have showered and slept. They have set their sights on recovery. There are still dogs in need. Anxious to return to their animal rescue mission in the Colorado Springs pet community, All Breed Rescue & Training would need money.

This Independent Field Rep for Life's Abundance Premium Food and Health Products knows more than the best dog food with good stuff. I always boast that a portion of every sale goes to Dr. Jane's Healthy Pet Net Foundation to help animals in need.

When I reached out to Dr. Jane at the height of the Waldo Canyon Fire disaster and asked for help for my local pet community, she answered -- and in a big way!

On July 10, this Life's Abundance field rep presented a grant for $2000 to All Breed Rescue & Training for disaster recovery  from the Waldo Canyon Fire.

This gift from Dr. Jane's Foundation will be used for utility bills and floor repairs to their facility. These funds will help enable them to continue to give back to the community in their best way.
